R7-Raiden | Power Rack

I bought the Atletica R7 V4 as a return/B-stock item at a reduced price and would do so again at any time. The power rack was as good as new and without scratches/dents or other defects. Basically, it stands rock solid without wobbling and makes a high-quality, heavy and aesthetic impression. The four-sided perforation is practical and was important to me. The lack of west side spacing does not bother me. The fact that the rack is cross-compatible with other brands such as ATX (or partly Affenhand) was an important reason for me to buy it, so that I could exploit a wide range of options at a good price-performance level. I also deliberately did not go for the ATX 700 series, as the Atletica R7 with all its attachments was not only much cheaper as a B-stock item, but above all because the lat pulldown just about meets my stretching height at 203cm instead of 198cm, thanks to the 5cm higher rack height at 182cm and a 55cm high bench. I was able to set up the R7 in my garage with a ceiling height of 207cm. If you have limited space, you should install the rollers and the square tube with attachment beforehand when attaching the lat pulldown (see instructions). Despite the square tube, the lat pull works perfectly and even better than my Finnlo lat pull, although I had concerns before buying it. Even light weights for lateral raises can be moved over the cable pull without getting caught. The lat pull unit is rounded off by a leg blocker that is included (not available/presented online, but was included). The leg blocker can also be secured with a pin and sits rock-solid. The padding is very thick and comfortable. In addition, the cable pull only takes up a few centimeters in depth, which makes the R7 particularly space-saving. The lat pull comes with 30mm mounts and 50mm adapters. The lat pull/rowing bars that are included are made of metal and slightly knurled. The jammer arms are very good and have holes on all four sides, although the product image only shows holes on the side. Theoretically, you could build a belt squat attachment out of them. The handles are very good and offer a variety of grip options and can be mounted in different positions along the square tube. I would like the jammer arms to be a bit shorter so that they can be used in more different ways. The monkey bar consists of a thinner (front) and a thicker (back) crossbar and thus replaces a fat bar. The monkey bar basically offers all the important grip options. The knurling is not particularly good, but that is irrelevant because the matte and relatively rough powder coating provides a very, very good grip. My old Sqmize monkey bar has better knurling in comparison, but the coating is smoother, so the bars are no different in comparison. However, I would like to be able to mount the pull-up bar upside down. The dip bar handles supplied are, as with all competitors of this type, unfortunately far too far apart at 80cm and make dips almost impossible. I immediately put them aside and bought the monkey hand dip bar to go with it, which I highly recommend. The band pegs included seem high quality and are very thick. There is a small deduction for the holes in the upper cross members, which unfortunately were not lasered with the usual 50mm spacing and 21mm holes and are therefore not suitable for add-on parts such as weight pins. The landmine attachment is high quality and can be quickly assembled/disassembled using a pin. This means that it is not rock-solid and rattles/wobbles a little. The weight pins are high quality and do their job. All of the safety bolts are high quality and do not have large manufacturing tolerances. The safety straps come with safety pins with split pins/spring pins and can therefore also be quickly assembled/disassembled. The straps themselves are very shiny. I don't find it particularly attractive, but that's just a side note because it doesn't matter during training. The customer service was very good and I received a quick and reliable answer to all problems and questions. Despite small suggestions for improvement, I would buy the rack again at any time. The price-performance ratio is currently excellent. I previously had a Sqmize SQ480 and am happy to be able to train with Atletica now, as the stability and application options are much better.
