1. What’s special about the Kappa Hybrid Bar?

The Kappa Hybrid Bar is a 15 kg bar for female athletes who prefer a lighter, more manageable bar. With a 25 mm grip, 201 cm length, and 1000 kg load capacity, it combines durability with comfort. Six needle bearings provide excellent spin, giving it a similar feel to a standard weightlifting bar – perfect for strength and functional training.

2. How do the Kappa and Yota Bars differ?

Both are 15 kg hybrid bars for women with a 25 mm grip and 201 cm length. The Kappa supports up to 1000 kg and has 6 needle bearings for dynamic spin, while the Yota supports up to 500 kg with 4 needle bearings and 2 bronze bushings for a more controlled rotation.

3. What’s the best way to store my barbell?

Ideally, store it horizontally on a wall mount such as our Blade, or on the J-hooks of a power rack. Do not leave it lying on the floor with weights loaded for extended periods.

4. Which weight plates do I need?

For weightlifting, we recommend bumper plates, which are ideal for safely dropping the bar. For classic strength training, gripper plates are nice because they’re easy to handle. A mix of small and large plates is important for training flexibility. A 95 kg set is usually more than sufficient for most beginners.

5. What can you train with a barbell?

Barbells can be used to train almost every muscle group. Perform core exercises like squats, deadlifts, bench presses, and overhead presses for greater functional strength, coordination, and to stimulate muscle growth. Thanks to their versatility, barbells are a proven tool in professional and recreational sports.
