The R8 Wall Rack is Only 27.5 cm Deep

The distance to the wall is large enough to load even Bumper Plates onto the barbell on the rack and to perform, for example, bench press on a Weight Bench
At 123 cm, the width is identical to that of our R8 Power Racks and therefore ideal for using all standard barbells with a 131 cm inside width
This means you can perform all free weight exercises, such as squats, just like on a Power Rack with four posts
Screwed into a suitable wall, it is in no way inferior to 4- or 6-post systems in terms of stability

Usable Outdoors and in Apartments or Garages

The zinc-finished steel is suitable for outdoor use
However, the R8 Wall Rack can also be used in apartments, provided the walls are sufficiently solid
Unlike the Power Racks of our R8 series, the feet are not fitted with rubber protectors
If the Wall Rack is not mounted floating on the wall, we recommend additionally using one of our floor protection mats on a sensitive surface
In the case of a garage, it is often necessary to quickly free up space in order to fit a car inside
Our B1 and Predator Weight Benches are especially suitable for this, since thanks to their standing function they can be raised vertically and moved out of the way without much effort or time

Equipment and Expandability

In addition to the J-Hooks, which can bear up to 450 kg, a Pull-Up Bar is also included in the delivery
It has medium-sharp knurling and offers you an excellent grip during your back training

I've had the rack for a few months and I'm really impressed with the quality. The thing is sturdy and it doesn't wobble at all. It was also relatively easy to assemble if there are two of you. I would buy the device again at any time because it doesn't take up much space. The pull-up bar is absolutely top-notch. Super easy to grip and just the right width. I also bought the emergency rests, which make the rack perfect for training alone. Heavy bench presses and squats can also be done safely alone. The reason for deducting one star, however, is the squats. Unfortunately, the device is so space-saving that I hit my head when picking up and putting down the bar when doing squats. The distance to the wall could have been 3-5cm larger at the expense of space. It works great as it is, but you have to be careful. The J-hooks also have some play, which makes them quite loud. The criticisms individually wouldn't be a reason for 4 stars, but together they do. I'll be ordering even better J-hooks soon. I'm still getting used to the distance to the wall. So it's a great rack! If you have little space and want a super robust rack, you should go for it! :)

Seems to be of pretty high quality. Shipping to Austria took about 10 days. The installation in the brickwork using the supplied dowels was easy to do. My ceiling is 240 cm high, so I mounted the pull-up bar lower down. The bar is now about 220 cm high, which fits well. In terms of space consumption, the rack is really top-notch.

The quality couldn't be better. I'm super happy with the R8 Wall Rack from ATLETICA. The workmanship and design are simply top notch. The feel of the knurling on the barbell and pull-up bar is just what you'd want it to be. Furthermore, the ordering process including delivery was flawless. The rack arrived perfectly packaged with the accessories after 4 working days. The only recommendation I would like to share as feedback is that the assembly instructions could be a bit more detailed, especially when it comes to the individual steps of assembly. Otherwise, I can only recommend ATLETICA products. Thank you!

The rack arrived about 10 days after I ordered it. The uprights are solid and very well made. The holes are precisely and cleanly lasered and I really enjoy the rack. The pull-up bar has a very nice grip without being too sharp. I only deduct one point because the paint comes off the J-hooks relatively quickly, but that will happen over time anyway since it is an item of everyday use. All in all a great, space-saving and very functional rack!
