Keltan EPDM Rubber — Superior Surface Performance
- Certified by Germany's leading testing institute.
- Low odor.
- Highly impact-resistant (4.4 MPa tensile strength).
- Built to withstand drops — even from sharp-edged or thin weight plates.
- Drop tested with 90 kg bumper plates from a 50 cm height.
- Dense, high-quality material (232 kg/m3).
- Heavy enough to stay put — no need for additional fixation.
- UV-resistant.
- Safe for use with underfloor heating.
- Withstands temperatures from 22°C to 85°C without warping.
Dual-Layer Protection for Maximum Safety
- Layer 1: 0.8 mm fine granules: Slip resistant, non-crumbly, won't absorb water or sweat.
- Layer 2: 3 mm coarse granules: Soft and shock-absorbing, sound-dampening with high elasticity.
- Ultra-clean lower layer — free of dyes and won't leave marks on parquet, tiles or laminate flooring.
- Compatible with underfloor heating.
Designed for High-Performance Gyms
- Ideal for small fitness studios, hotels, schools, personal trainers, and rehab centers focused on moderate weight training and bodyweight exercises.
- Perfect for outdoor training areas.
- Available in two sizes:
- 50 x 50 — Easy to adapt to smaller spaces.
- 100 x 100 cm — Fewer seams make them ideal for large open spaces.
STEP-BY-STEP GUIDE TO CUTTING YOUR GYM FLOORING MATS
- Safety First — Wear protective gloves to prevent cuts.
- Choose the Right Tool — Use a sharp carpet or utility knife with a straight edge. Skip the hand saws and circular saws — they'll shred the mat instead of cutting it cleanly.
- Prepare the Surface — Think flat and level and protect the cutting surface (table or floor) with cardboard or a similar material.
- Measure and Mark — Use chalk or lightly score the cut line with the knife.
- Make the Cut — Place the straight edge along the measured line and cut firmly and smoothly in one motion. Repeat until fully separated. Spreading the mat apart as you go will reduce friction.
- Optimize Cutting Efficiency — Lightly moisten the blade with soapy water for smoother cutting but, be careful because it can also increase the risk of blade slippage.
- Seal Gaps — Use black tape to cover seams and prevent dust or dirt from getting between the mats.
