Safety First — Wear protective gloves to prevent cuts.
Gear Up — Use a sharp carpet or utility knife with a straight edge.
Prep the Area — Think flat and level and protect the cutting surface (table or floor) with cardboard or a similar material.
Measure and Mark — Carefully measure and mark your cut line with chalk or lightly score with the knife.
Make the Cut — Place the straight edge along the measured line and cut firmly and smoothly in one motion. Repeat until fully separated. Spreading the mat apart as you go will reduce friction.
Optimize Cutting Efficiency — Lightly moisten the blade with soapy water for smoother cutting but, be careful because it can also increase the risk of blade slippage.

Absolute recommendation! Size/Composite/Hold: I first ordered the 50 cm x 50 cm mats, then another three 100 cm x 100 cm mats. I carefully glued the bottom of the mats together with high-quality adhesive tape. This was particularly necessary for the 50x50 mats, but also for the 100x100, because I also incorporate bodyweight exercises, i.e. lots of burpees, froggers, and other jumping units into my training. Otherwise, during jumping exercises, the mats that are not glued together would slip a lot. The mats also fit together well when alternating 100x100/50x50. There are slight gap deviations, in my case in the small mm range. The mats have a very slightly slippery surface to begin with, but this wears off after a few sessions. However, I wouldn't do split lunges etc. on the mats to begin with if you don't have good stability/body control. After a few sessions, however, this was gone too. Odor: At first, I also noticed a rubber smell, not dramatic in my opinion, but very noticeable. The smell disappears relatively quickly (about 3 weeks). Strength/Quality: I have the 20mm version of the mats and they dampen everything I've dropped so far. The noise from the bounce is also greatly dampened. Conclusion: After a good month of use, I am very impressed, a clear recommendation to buy! However, I would only buy the 100x100 version if I had to decide again, but sending it back etc. is too much effort for me now - especially since the gaps are not noticeable even in the 50x50 area (I train with shoes on; I can't feel them when lying down either).

The mats are nice and heavy and look good. They lie flat and firmly on the floor - and you don't walk on them "softly" or anything like that. A heavy rack stands on them and nothing wobbles. Cutting them to size went really well from the start, much better than expected - even in difficult little corners. As for the smell: it doesn't really smell bad and it's getting less over the next few days. I laid a small part of the mats not flush against a wall - I painted the side with black plastic paint. The rubber at the bottom and on the sides is colored, but can be easily turned black with a paint like this. I would choose this product again - other suppliers are usually more expensive.

The product is really good. For me, a floor covering has to be a closed surface in which no dirt or anything else gets stuck. I have tried several floors and it is by far the best floor protection! A great surface, connectors between the panels and absolute precision work. Then there is speedy shipping (ordered on Sunday, delivered on Tuesday) and top customer support. More is not possible!

How do you compare or evaluate a good fitness floor? I don't want to make a science out of it, I just want to express my honest and unvarnished opinion. I am generally very satisfied with my 20 panels for a total of 5 sqm with a height of 20mm. Some panels are slightly larger/longer than others, some are slightly unevenly finished on the sides, and three panels also have an uneven surface, i.e. small material defects. But everything is tolerable. The biggest drawback for me at the moment is the smell. Smell, my wife says stench that will go away after a few weeks. Usual for SBR. If you don't want that, you should look for (significantly more expensive) TPE. As you can see in the photo, the panels will air out outside for some time before I lay them in the basement. Twelve connectors are included per square meter for installation. The surface is not as slippery as feared, and I am very satisfied with that too. Even without weight, you notice the drainage channels when you stand on the floor without shoes - but it is by no means disturbing. I once put an upright on a plate for a while. It didn't leave any marks. Everything looks robust and durable. Nothing will slip on my concrete floor, I will not glue the tiles. I haven't yet tested dropping the LH with bumpers. But I am very confident that the soil here is very well suited for this. That should be all I can report so far. Due to the low price, I am happy to give this product five stars and give a clear recommendation to buy.
