Cutting and Installation Guide

• Safety first: Wear suitable work gloves to reduce the risk of cuts.
  
• Use the right tools: a sharp utility knife and a straight edge.
  
• Place the mat on a flat, level surface. Use cardboard underneath to protect the floor.
  
• Measure carefully and mark the cut line with chalk or a light knife score.
  
• Set the straight edge on the line and cut firmly through the mat without lifting the knife. Keep pressure even and cut in one continuous motion.
• Repeat until the mat is fully cut through. Pull the mat apart slightly as you cut to reduce friction.
• If needed, lightly moisten the blade with soapy water for smoother cutting, but note that this can increase the risk of slipping.
  
• Cover any gaps between mats with black tape to help block dust and dirt.
