At just 17 years old, Karlos Nasar made history by becoming one of the youngest men's weightlifting world champions. Today, as a four-time world and European champion, he sets new standards in Olympic weightlifting, especially in the snatch and clean and jerk disciplines.

His records in the weight class up to 89 kg include 223 kg in the clean and jerk (IWF Grand Prix 2023), 176 kg in the snatch as well as 224 kg in the clean and jerk and 404 kg in the total (World and Olympic records, 2024).
