Redefining Strength, Breaking Records
At just 17 years old, Karlos Nasar made history as one of the youngest men’s world champions in weightlifting. Today, as a four-time world and European champion, he’s redefining the limits of Olympic weightlifting—especially in the snatch and clean and jerk.
His records in the 89 kg weight class include a 223 kg clean and jerk (IWF Grand Prix 2023), a 176 kg snatch, as well as a 224 kg clean and jerk and a 404 kg total (world and Olympic records, 2024).
Karlos Nasar proves: With determination and the right equipment, no challenge is too great and no weight too heavy.
