Keltan EPDM Rubber—Built to Take a Beating

  • Independently tested by Germany's leading testing institute
  • Low odor
  • High 4.4 MPa tensile strength
  • Resistant to drops from sharp-edged or thin weight plates
  • Drop tested with 90 kg bumper plates from a 50 cm height
  • High material density of 232 kg/m3
  • Heavy enough to stay in place—no floor mounting required
  • UV-resistant
  • Compatible with underfloor heating
  • Stays solid in temps between 22°C and 85°C—won't warp or break down

Two Protective Layers for Maximum Protection

  • Layer 1: Fine granules with a 0.8 mm grain size—slip resistant, won’t crumble, and doesn’t soak up sweat or moisture
  • Layer 2: Coarse granules with a 3 mm grain size:—soft, shock-absorbing, sound-insulating and keeps its bounce
  • The bottom layer is also ultra clean, dye-free and won't leave marks on parquet, tiles or laminate
  • Can be used with underfloor heating without any issues

Built for High-Performance Home Gyms and Professional Studios

  • Engineered for moderate strength training and bodyweight work (perfect for compact gyms, hotels, schools, personal training setups and rehab facilities)
  • Also tough enough for outdoor training areas
  • Available in two sizes: 50 x 50 cm or 100 x 100 cm
  • The 100 x 100 cm version minimizes seams, making it ideal for larger spaces, while the 50 x 50 cm version is easier to fit around tight corners and smaller floor plans

Step by Step Installation Instructions

1. Safety first: Wear suitable work gloves to avoid cuts.
2. Choose the right tool: A sharp carpet or utility knife and a straight edge work best.
3. Prep the cutting surface: Work on a flat and level surface. Use cardboard or something similar under the mat to protect the cutting surface.
4. Measure and mark: Use a chalk line or lightly score the surface to mark where you'll cut.
5. Carefully cut: Line up your straight edge and press firmly as you cut through the mat in one smooth motion. Gently pull the cut pieces apart to reduce friction.  Repeat until the blade cuts all the way through. If needed, apply a little soapy water to the blade for smoother cutting—just be careful to maintain control.
6. Seal the gaps:  If needed, cover any large gaps with black tape to prevent dust and dirt from getting in.
