After many years of going to the gym, I have finally decided to set up my own home gym and I am very happy with my choice of equipment. After comparing several providers, I decided on Atletica. There were several reasons for this: (1) The website makes a good, reputable impression. (2) I really liked the videos about the products. (3) The online reviews were good and helpful. (4) The guarantee promise. (5) The friendly and quick contact with customer support. I ordered the B6 incline weight bench, floor protection mats, the R8 Blaster power rack, a barbell bar and weights. Delivery and assembly: I ordered the barbell, the incline bench and the power rack on Wednesday and the delivery company showed up at my door on Saturday after giving me advance notice. Absolutely brilliant! I had to walk several times but was able to carry everything to the assembly site by myself. I would still recommend a second person as some of the packages are quite heavy. The bench was easy to assemble. If you have any questions, you can also watch the video. I was able to assemble the power rack with lat pull-down on my own. A sturdy stepladder is definitely recommended for this. A second person would certainly have been helpful here, but it actually works just fine. For the lat pull-down, you should get a good overview of the individual parts and screws before assembling it. The instruction drawing is actually all you need. It just seems very complex at first with dozens of screws. I ordered the floor mats and weights afterwards, but here too I didn't have to wait longer than 5-7 working days for the order, which is absolutely fine. First impression after about 6 weeks: I am super happy with my purchase decision. The bench is very solid, well made and does what it promises. It is definitely long enough for my 1.93 m. The clamp for the sit-ups is a nice-to-have, but not a feature that I personally value. I can't fault the barbell, the weights and the floor protection either. Functionally, everything is as it should be. That's why I'm coming to the rack... this thing is a beast... I'm really impressed! Even without floor anchors, it has a very stable hold: no jerking, no wobbling, nothing! Pull-ups and similar exercises are therefore possible without any problems (as a guide: I weigh around 100 kg). The lat pull-down station runs smoothly, quietly and also without jerking. The chains on the handles can be shortened or lengthened depending on the exercise by combining them with the carabiners in different ways. But what really impresses me is the workmanship of the rack. I didn't come across any sharp edges when setting it up or when training. The entire rack is very well made and looks incredibly good too. So if you're looking for a rack for your home gym, I can definitely recommend Atletica!
